King Solomon's Temple symbolizes the human body, and this "ante-room" that is said to be connected to the Temple is symbolic of your heart, which is like a room connected to your body leading inward into the secret dwelling place of God, which is your mind. This is why the first degree of Masonry teaches you that you were first prepared to be made a Mason in your Mind and in your Heart.
